Consultation Day
I recommend that you come in for a consultation. A consultation will take about 45 minutes. During that time, I will cover everything involved in the procedure including color choices, anesthetics that are available and pricing of the procedures and techniques that you choose. On that day, I will ask you to fill out a pre-consent form, which will cover any prior procedures, any medications and supplements you take or have taken, within the past six months.
It is necessary to bring your makeup, if you do wear it, for color comparison and to demonstrate your desired look for your permanent makeup. If the client is not sure of proper placement, as a professional makeup artist, I will demonstrate options available to you, applying the makeup on you myself, With correct placement, matching your skin tone and using the symmetry of your face, your expectations can be achieved. When you feel confident, you then can make an appointment. In some cases we can begin your procedure directly following the consultation. Do it for yourself, not for anyone else!
Procedure Day
Plan on at least 2 hours. I take the time each client may need. We are all very unique!
First I take your picture. Assuming you have decided on your choices, I will start with the procedure, by cleaning the preferred area with surgical soap. I then apply the topical anesthetic. The selected topical may remain on your skin from 15-30 minutes, depending on your comfort level. Then I remove all topicals and you or myself, can apply your makeup as you would like to wear it everyday. It is not necessary to have your own makeup. I then begin implanting your choice of pigments, with a single use needle/needles.
Made exclusively for Permanent Cosmetic applications, I will be using a State of the Art, Nouveau Contour Digital, 700 machine. Manufactured in Germany, this machine enables me the best implanting of pigment, most consistent and accuracy, with little swelling and more comfort. This hand device is very quiet and non-intimidating.
As I continue implanting the desired color, I often show our progress. Remember, I am using your make-up, that we have applied, as my stencil.
Occasionally, I sit you up to critique my work. I would like your input. I am not saying you need to know about my profession, nor do you need to know about makeup. I want you to feel in charge and pleasantly surprised! When my client is finished is when she is happy with her new look and smiling with delight!
Upon leaving, I will take your post-procedure picture and carefully go over the after care instructions, which you will take home along with healing packets. Remember, to follow the instructions.
We then can schedule your touch-up appointment. I will do a follow-up by phone within 3 days. Please remain in contact with me, for the first week or so. This is a very important phase of your healing process. I would rather you feel free to call on me and not feel like a bother.
This is a Labor of Love!
